Sound Familiar?

Bad Books are Costing You Time and Money

Most small business owners have experienced at least one of these problems. They cost you time, lead to poor decisions, and cause you to overpay the IRS. Here’s how we fix each one.

The Problem

Surprise tax bills

Too many business owners find out what they owe only after the year is over — when the tax-saving opportunities have already passed. The result: a surprise tax bill, missed deductions, and underpayment penalties.

Our Solution

Proactive tax planning

We reduce your tax bill through year-round planning and tax projections that tell you what you owe ahead of time, helping you manage cash flow and avoid last-minute tax surprises.

The Problem

Numbers you can't use

Transactions sit uncategorized for weeks, reconciliations run behind, and the reports don’t match what you see in the bank. You’re making important decisions on instinct instead of accurate data.

Our Solution

Financials you can trust

We rebuild your books around how your business actually operates, then close them every month on a set schedule. You never have to chase down reports again.

The Problem

The owner time trap

You’re spending 15 to 20 hours a month on your books and other financial tasks instead of revenue-generating work. At what your time is worth, that could be six figures of lost opportunity annually.

Our Solution

Get Your Time Back

We take over your accounting operations, giving you back time for the high-value work that drives your business forward.

From First Call to Ongoing Service

Your First Financial Win in 45 Days

We follow a structured process so expectations are clear from day one.

01

Day 1

Initial Discovery Call

We’ll get on a call to learn about your business, your current challenges, and your goals. By the end of our first conversation, you’ll know whether we’re the right fit, what the next steps are, and what our process looks like.

02

Day 3

Tax Review & Custom Proposal

After our initial call, we review your most recent tax returns and your books. We identify issues and map out opportunities. From there, we walk you through a custom proposal built around your needs, goals, and priorities – with clearly defined scope and expectations.

03

Day 10

Onboarding

Once you decide to move forward, we get you onboarded. We connect to your systems, establish the right processes, and make sure everything is set up properly. By the end of onboarding, you’ll have financials you can trust and a clear understanding of what your numbers mean for your business.

04

Day 45

Ongoing Monthly Service

Most CPAs show up at tax time. We show up every month. You receive accurate financials by the 20th of each month, along with scheduled check-ins and proactive tax planning to help you stay ahead and make smarter business decisions.

05

Annual

Tax Preparation & Filing

By the time we prepare your return, the hard work is already done. We make sure the planning decisions made before year-end are accurately reflected on your returns, while ensuring compliance with federal and state tax law. This proactive approach helps reduce risk, avoid surprises, and keep more of what you earn.

Frequently Asked Questions

Many business owners have similar questions before getting started. Here are answers to the questions we hear most often.

Most CPAs file your tax return, and you don’t hear from them again until next April. We take a more proactive approach. We deliver your financials every month, plan your taxes to help reduce what you owe, and provide guidance when important financial decisions come up. Working with us means having a long-term financial partner who stays engaged in your business throughout the year.

Most of our clients do $500K or more in annual revenue. Below that, you likely don’t need monthly accounting; annual tax planning plus filing is usually sufficient. We sometimes work with businesses below that threshold if they have plans to grow. If we are not the right fit, we will tell you right away and point you toward better options.

We primarily work with medical & dental practices, construction & home services, professional services, and real estate investors. If you operate in a different industry and want to learn more about our services, please contact us. We’d be happy to connect with you.

Our firm primarily serves Washington-based businesses, but we occasionally work with businesses outside the state. If you’re looking for a proactive CPA partner and believe we may be a good fit, please reach out. We’d be happy to connect.

We charge a fixed monthly fee only. No hourly surprises. We tailor our services to your specific needs and goals, so pricing depends on the size and complexity of your business and how much support you need. We discuss what makes sense for you on the initial discovery call.

Yes. We work with clients who only need tax services. If we do not handle your books, however, we require a financial review of your records before preparing and signing off on your tax return. This allows us to confirm the accuracy of the information being reported. There is an additional fee for book review.

We use QuickBooks Online. If you’re already using QBO, we’ll review your account to ensure it’s set up properly. If not, we’ll help you get set up with the right software for your business during onboarding.
